Do I Need a Pool Safety Certificate?

If you are Selling or Leasing a property with a pool you will require a current Pool Safety Certificate.

Our Pool Safety Inspection Service can complete that process for you with a Certificate Issued for a Compliant Pool – or if your pool doesn’t comply – you will be advised on what you need to do to make it compliant and eligible for a pool safety certificate.

Pool safety certificates are valid for two years for a non-shared pool (normal single House or Unit Pool) or one year for a shared pool (multi tenant user pools e.g. Resorts and Holiday Units)

If you are not selling or leasing a property with a pool you do not require a pool safety certificate – However you are obliged by law to ensure that your pool area and barriers are compliant with the Qld State Government Pool Safety Legislation at all times.

Our Consultancy Service can advise you on what you need to do to make and keep your pool compliant.
